As the leaves have changed colour and our second season wraps up, we have, in fact, been busier than ever! With the success of our lovely Lodge and a new-found passion for sharing our home, we have been non-stop preparing brand-new accommodation, and we think you’re going to love it.
When Quarry Wood re-opens in March of 2025, you can expect an entirely new landscape, whilst protecting the tranquillity we know our visitors love. Let us paint you a picture of the all-new Quarry Wood…
Just a stone’s throw away from the main house is our new pond, teeming with greenery and wildlife and serving as a peaceful place to escape and unwind. Tucked away pondside is our charming little Shepherd’s Hut. This tiny cabin is perfect for couples and comes complete with the ultimate luxury – a cosy little log burner. We invite visitors to relax, unwind, and get back to nature in comfortable simplicity.
Nestled in the shade of our Sycamore trees is ‘The Iglu’ our unique, handmade cabin with rustic features, unlike anything else in Wales. Sleep in a curved alcove with views across the land at your feet. Make use of the fully equipped kitchen and stylish bathroom, with all the modern features you might expect. If you’ve loved ‘The Lodge’, we just know you’re going to love ‘The Iglu’.
Returning visitors, we have a treat for you. We’ve picked the lovely lodge right up and placed it pondside, bringing nature right to your front door. And that’s not all! The hot tub has now been upgraded to form part of a wellness sanctuary.
This leads us neatly onto our favourite new development promoting visitor wellness. Indulge in a luxuriously long session in our high-quality sauna, before embracing cold water therapy in our icy plunge pool. For pure relaxation, soak in the hot tub with a little glass of fizz.
We are planning to introduce even more features as we progress, including pizza packages, breakfast hampers and bicycle hire. As usual though, nothing is too much trouble, and we’re on hand to help with whatever our guests may need!
The upgrade is taking up all our time as we busily landscape, plant, furnish and make the finishing touches. All this whilst taking care of the mad house! Complete with children, dogs and farm animals. It’s a busy time, but we’re loving it, and we can’t wait for the finished result. We are so excited to welcome visitors, old and new, to Quarry Wood.
