Our Story

We started small back in 2021 with just our cosy Hideaway pod, tucked away in the peaceful woodland of our smallholding.

Since then, thanks to our amazing guests, we’ve grown! We’ve added our spacious, Luxury Lodge, and in 2025 we’re excited to introduce two brand new pods—The Hut and The Iglu.

Another beautiful stay at the newest addition to Quarry Wood Glamping — The Iglu! It was super cosy, comfortable, spotless and had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. You can really tell how much thought has gone into the whole set-up to make the experience special.

We loved relaxing with the views across the fields, watching the animals wander by — and of course being greeted each day by the four adorable doggies! 🐾 Sarah is such a lovely host, always on hand with help or great recommendations.

The hot tub was a real highlight — soaking in warm bubbles, surrounded by nature, while watching the sunset… absolute bliss. 🌅

Everything was fantastic — thank you so much! 🤩

This was such a beautiful experience, I booked the hut for my partners birthday and Sarah was so accommodating, there was birthday bunting and freshly baked brownies for our arrival. The place was immaculate and so homely, we never wanted to leave. The wildlife near by and the peace and tranquillity of the place was beautiful! Thank you so much, we will definitely be back 🙂

I have stayed at Quarry Wood twice now in both the Lodge and the Iglu. It's the loveliest glamping experience you could have. We have already booked to come back and try the new Shepherds Hut. Sarah can't do enough for you, from advice for places to go to making sure your hot tub stays warm for you. She even left me a cake on my birthday. Its spotlessly clean, and everything is of an excellent standard. I couldn't recommend more!

We've just come back from our stay at Quarry Wood and our first ever visit to Pembrokeshire.

We stayed in the Iglu for two nights with our dog and it was perfection. We have glamped before but this was next level!

From the completely secure area for our dog, hot tub heated for your arrival, fresh local milk, handmade soaps, underfloor heating in the bathroom and the homemade biscuits. You can clearly tell that every part of your experience has been thought through.

Sarah was a fantastic host, providing a really comprehensive guidebook beforehand. We tried both Feast restaurant and Bosherton Lily Ponds walk on their recommendations and we had a great time. She even heated our hot tub on the second day so we could take a dip after the long walk.

If you are thinking of staying here I couldn't recommend it more.

We will be back!

Absolutely loved it perfect little getaway. We stayed in the iglu and I must admit it was amazing the attention to detail was second to none they have thought of everything. Nice field for the dog to run in. Shortbread was yummy.

Just back from a lovely stay at Quarrywood.
Sarah and Neil were perfect hosts! The cabin we had (the iglu) was amazing.
So well thought out and comfortable.
The hot tub was amazing also. We will definitely be coming back again.

Thankyou Sarah and family for making our stay so lovely. This is the nicest dog friendly glamping we have stayed. The iglu was modern, with all high quality products inside which was nice to see no expense spared on the actual premises. Communication before arrival was fantastic and if you had any questions you could ask. The location is around 10 mins to Tenby and saundersfoot which was fantastic to make the most of our 2 days stay. Everything we needed was there and thankyou for preparing our birthday hamper with the lovely produce before we arrived this just enabled our first evening to be a relaxing one on arrival. The place is in a beautiful little area you have worked hard to build. Keep doing what you’re doing and we will no doubt be back in the future . Thanks so much .

Our favourite place.. Been visitors to Quarry wood for a good few years now and after staying frequently in the lodge it finally had its new home next to the pond with the gorgeous Iglu and Shepherd’s hut. Xx A huge thank you to Sarah, Neil and Esme.. the most amazing hosts .. Their hospitality is second to none. We ordered a breakfast hamper and on arrival we were given the most amazing local produce. It was truly scrumptious . Nothing is any trouble while you’re there. As our stay consisted of some lovely fine weather we decided to use the hot tub as a plunge pool rather than warm it up. So refreshing. !Our dog Malcolm also enjoyed discovering the fields around and lazed around in the sunshine. Sarah and Neil always give some amazing recommendations for eating, drinking and amazing places to visit.. can’t wait to come back and stay again.. you haven’t got rid of us guys.. keep doing what your doing.. 5 🌟 love you guys! 💖💖💖

We absolutely loved our stay in the Lodge. We spent two nights there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and Sarah even put a banner up for us outside which was a lovely touch.|The location is perfect to pop into Tenby or Saunderfoot and comes with parking right behind the lodge. The easiness to get into Tenby was what made us choose our stay at Quarrywood so we could still enjoy the local area whilst also enjoying peace and quiet. The lodge was fully equipped with everything we could need including some very lovely shortbread and fresh milk from the local farm.|We enjoyed meeting the hosts including all the animals. The ducks loved being fed with some food left in the lodge and waddled over to the fence in the evening. |The wood fired hot tub was a great way to relax in the evening with a book as the sun set. We will definitely be returning at some point. Thanks so much for a lovely stay x

Wow!! What can I say, spent the weekend here for my 30th which my partner surprised me to. Sarah went out of her way to leave a balloon, chocolates and flowers for me to arrive too! This was lovely of her ❤️ The lodge is absolutely gorgeous, well cleaned and maintained and had everything we needed, Sarah was amazing and asked if there was anything we needed then to just contact her. The views were amazing to wake up to and we even went and visited Pembroke castle which was lovely! We took our dog with us and even he enjoyed having a run around! The hot tub and fire pit was lovely at night time! We would definitely be returning ❤️

I came across this cute little place for our mini break. The lodge is outstanding- it has everything that you need . The location is fantastic, only 8-10 minutes drive from Tenby town.

Our host Sarah is so lovely and so accommodating. Always at hand to assist and the recommendations were super handy and really made our stay exceptional.

The lodge is super clean (like brand new clean) , comfortable, quiet, and has great views looking out to beautiful fields rounded by nature. We loved the animals , specially the little goat 😊.

The app has so much info on where to eat, shop and take on great walks.

We only stayed two nights, but came back super relaxed and chilled.

Can’t wait to come back ASAP.

We stayed at the Quarrywood lodge for the weekend and we couldn’t say anymore how amazing it was! The host was amazing she made sure we was comfortable always. The location is perfect your only 7 minutes away from Tenby town and the north beach, there is also a bundle of activities to do just 3 minutes away! We throughly enjoyed our experience. The interior was stunning with an amazing view, one of our favourite parts was being able to walk over and see the animals on the field just over from the lodge. Overall it was an amazing experience and we will 100% be coming back again! xxx

We stayed here in March for my partners 30th and the stay was absolutely perfect. Sarah made sure to make the stay extra special. Ordering me in a cake and decorating with banners and balloons to help surprise him on arrival. She even dropped off some freshly laid eggs from the chicken. The pod was immaculate and had everything we needed and more, it felt like a little piece of paradise. Sarah helped us locate a dog friendly taxi so we could go in to Tenby to have food and drinks and take our fur baby with us. Really was a special weekend and my partner loved his surprise mini staycation. We can’t wait to visit again. Thank you for having us

Had a fantastic 5 night stay at Quarry Wood. The pod was immaculate, spacious and kitted out with everything you could possibly need. Our 2 dogs loved being able to roam freely around the enclosed space, even saying hello to the pot-bellied pigs through the fence! Sarah and Neil were fantastic and attentive hosts, giving great recommendations of where to walk the dogs as well as ensuring we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Would highly recommend and cannot wait to return!

With its charming Flemish chimneys, a cosy local pub (The Sun Inn), and a handy village shop for all your essentials, it’s the perfect little spot to explore during your stay.

Discover Tenby

Tenby is one of Pembrokeshire’s most loved seaside towns. Famous for its colourful harbour, medieval town walls, and beautiful sandy beaches.

The perfect place to spend a day exploring. With its rich history, lively atmosphere, and stunning coastal views.

Visit Carew

Just a five-minute drive from Quarrywood Glamping, you’ll find the peaceful village of Carew, set on the banks of the Carew River.

This little gem is home to the impressive 13th-century Carew Castle, overlooking a stunning 23-acre millpond. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed walk.

Saundersfoot

Just along the coast from Tenby, Saundersfoot is a lovely little seaside village with its own unique charm.

Smaller and quieter than Tenby, it’s perfect if you’re after a more relaxed day by the sea. It’s also accessible, with wide, flat paths ideal for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
